Star talk/ 4 :: Cyndi + 5566 autograph session

music 失戀歌迷黨 [王心凌/honey]

Yeah!! After some hard work I finally managed to learn the full version of Cyndi's honey jumbo dance!! =)

Around this time last week, I went to Cyndi's autograph session at Bishan J8 alone. Guess what. It was my very very first time seeing so many guys at an autograph session! Previously I thought that only the girls were enthusiastic about these events. But then, from what I saw and experienced myself, I was absolutely WRONG.

I regretted making my way and squeezing into the crowd. Male fans were so tall! Having to see Cyndi's face through the heads for less than 10 seconds was my greatest reward then. After that, I was completely blocked by hundreds of tall figures jostling in front of me.

The atmposphere at a female artiste's autograph session was very different from that of a male's. Crazy screams still came from some of the female counterparts after repeated requests from Lingzhi. Guys are, indeed, shy to express their admiration toward idols. From what I can recall, most watched in silence during Cyndi's performance, with camera-equipped handphones, digicams and videocams held high up in the air. Flashlights were inevitable occurrences. Ok, that's the politically correct behaviour in this society.

Whereas at 5566's autograph session I attended on Sunday, screams were so often that they turned out to be very annoying. Fans started displaying their "crazy symptoms" upon the broadcasting of 5566's concert in Taipei through the loudspeakers. Nothing wrong, that's also the politically correct behaviour for female fans.

I didn't get to go on stage to meet 5566 in person [passed my VCD to Yijun's friend as he was already halfway in the queue], which is quite a pity. I want to see to what extent have they aged. After pulling through so many unhappy incidents and sharpening their acting, hosting and singing skills, 5566 have grown up a lot.

This star-gazing weekend has been an enriching experience for me. =)
