POPagenda concert
music 马德里不思议 [蔡依林/舞娘]
Went for POPagenda press conference on Friday afternoon, right after the lunch treat from newly opened Ajitei restaurant @ Bugis. 郭美美 is the Jap restaurant's endorser. Of cos, she appeared at the launch and boy, she was just too cute.
POPagenda press conference was a brand new experience for me. First time having the chance to see many artistes at one go and interviewing them personally after the host's introduction.
Eventually interviewed local singers 蔡礼莲、龚诗嘉, "winter sonata" theme song's singer cum lyricist Ryu and taiwanese singer 纪晓君.
Of them all, 礼莲 was the most super friendly interviewee. Upon seeing my interest in local music, she passed me her namecard and told me she could make arrangements if I wanna attend the concert.
But I thought it wouldn't be nice to make her go through those redundant trouble. So, I just sent her an sms to wish her luck in her performance. And it was really really nice of her to reply to an intern. Her previous sms was just as humble as she sounded during the interview we had: "Oh, i'm not a star, i feel ordinary, i jus love and enjoy singing."
礼莲 rocks. She's the friendliest (must bold plus underline to magnify my emphasis) artiste I've ever personally interviewed in my whole lifetime. Rainie Yang comes after her according to my impression. She's the type who can chat a lot with the media and she doesn't act cute.
Ryu was friendly too. Think I would've gone crazy if I'm a fan of "winter sonata".
After the concert, met up with CY and another member of Chou Pi Jiang (can't remember his name). Had a little chat and got to know that they're concentrating on composing songs.
Was surprised when they said they remembered a "慧芬" from txy. Then I found out that it was Zhiwei who told them during last Zpop concert that I like their music. (Sheesh, forgot to ask for their contact numbers. Could've get first hand news on their gigs cos just realised that their website domain www.choupijiang.com has expired. ): )
A pity I couldn't attend the concert. Have got other priorities to spend on.
