Yay Happy Birthday to me, though it's over already! Oh no, I'm nineteen. Last age with number starting with "1". 老老老~！

Just as usual, I received many many well-wishes through many many sms-es. Friends, thank you for giving me a little corner in your memory and heart.. I really appreciate it. (:

If you're concerned about how I "celebrated" my birthday, I let you know now..

When the clock struck twelve, I was still in the office rushing the Lianhe Wanbao Family Idol article. Reached home at about 1 am cos Dad fetched came and fetched me. So he's the first person to spend my birthday with me.. Isn't it sweet. (:

That was how my first birthday hour was spent. In SPH Lianhe Wanbao Office, on Hsiangyu's desk and computer. Cool. :P

In the morning of my birthday, Mum specially made 长寿面 for me:

Then I went for my last day of work as IKEA hostess. Free shuttle bus service to IKEA (with bus hosts and hostesses) officially ends today! Took a lot of photos for rememberance. (:

The whole experience was fun. I felt like a "land-stewardess" when I served IKEA catalouges and shopping tools to the passengers.

There was once when:

1. a passenger dropped her diamond engagement ring on bus;

2. another dropped his handphone unknowingly and it got picked up by yet another passenger -- our driver who witnessed her keeping the handphone gave her a chase to make her return what she's not supposed to take;

3. driver Zen and I kept staring into the sky at one night cos the moon was exceptionally round and big;

4. the bus broke down and I got to see the technicians repairing the bus engine (managed to take a peek into the huge and complicated engine);

5. Zen told me so much about Bhuddism.

My birthday marks the end of the shuttle service with bus host and hostess around. But IKEA free shuttle service has been extended to 2 Jul.

Reached home at 10 p.m. As usual, I had my low-profile birthday celebration with my family. C'mon, quality means more to me as compared to quantity ok. 我享受现在单纯美好的小幸福. ;)

So, in conclusion, my birthday has been spent on work, work, work. Call me a workaholic, I don't mind.. Birthdays are meant to be spent meaningfully. Next year, if I'm lucky enough, I wish to spend with someone special! (:
