Over the past few weeks, my body has been subconciously sending warning signals in attempts to tell me that I'm going to fall sick. I am aware of it, but I didn't take it too seriously cos I dunno when exactly this illness is going to befall me.
It officially struck when I headed for Zaobao Cultural Camp last Monday. Lost my voice, down with sore and itchy throat and finally, fever. I'll never forget those times when I brought along my pink water bottle everywhere with the students everywhere they went, cos I knew I need a lot of water to prevent the sickness from getting worse. That makes me look like an auntie.
This is my first time doing coverage for a camp event and yet I fell sick. Intolerable! I would have been more bubbly when I interviewed 谢燊杰 and 李偲松. :(
I'm glad I've finished the writeup.. Though I still owe Friday Weekly its share..
Maybe cos of illness my mood hasn't been good these few days. I can't sing to de-stress with a lousy voice!
What's more mood-dampening is that I've missed the previous episode of 《都是大发现》 featuring SOUL, cos it was aired when I was in camp. Why must it be so coincidental?!
Dragging along my semi-weak body I attended a small segment of JJ Lin's rehearsal with his band on Thursday.
Boy, those musicians were extremely COOL! Professional and accurate!
JJ was later interviewed by the media. A friendly chat took place. Trust me, given the rehearsal standard, this concert is really gonna be a good one. Moreover it's in the indoor stadium, a renowed concert destination with a complete and more sophisticated sound system.
南拳妈妈 has released their 3rd album 《调色盘》 on 26 may. I'm in love with their first hit 《初恋粉色系》 -- its relaxing, fun-loving melody and its schoolish lyrics. Can't wait to listen to their full album!
