after receiving a call from reader mr lim, i immediately felt a great sense of achievement. (:

he called us a few days ago stating that he wanted to find a long lost cousin. it took me more than half an hour to interview him cos i think he couldn't remember some details clearly.

the writeup was published yesterday. he gave a call just now, telling me that he has already found his cousin and wanted to give me a treat.

he needn't repay me; it's our newspaper's mission and my job to render help where possible.

i'm moved by his act of gratitude cos i know that my effort has at least been appreciated by one person in the world. (:
