scorched dumpling

i wasted a dumpling today. wanted to have it as my lunch, but when i placed it inside the microwave oven to heat it, it became scorched.

ok, maybe the way i heated it was incorrect.

the "chao da" smell emanated from the whole dumpling and it hardened. the frost was still covering the glutinous rice. (mum froze it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh). aiya, should've taken a photo of it to show how disgusting dumplings can become, especially when one heats them in the wrong way.
but i took two photos of it "making rounds" inside the microwave oven:



have been wanting to learn how to wrap a dumpling. but due to work reasons i couldn't squeeze out time to learn from mummy and auntie. :(
