I miss Bangkok!

I'm missing Bangkok very badly.
5 days of stay there was an enriching experience for me. Extreme poverty and images of Singapore in the 60s-70s layed just before my eyes --- in this technology famous 21st century.
The people, the dirty roads and buildings, the lousy hotel accommodation, the warm bus journeys, the very affordable earrings, bags, shirts, pants and shoes, the exciting motor boat ride at Pattaya, the temple visits, the handsign bargains with the stallholders and the lame tourguide Akam --- all of the abovementioned have been weaved into a quilt of beautiful memories.
Although I complained about the low standard and the unhygenic practices there, I still grew found of the place somehow, mainly because of the value-for-money stuff. They can definitely satisfy my materialistic desires at a low cost.
Chatuchak market, Platinum market and MBK Shopping Centre --- I miss you!! Actually, those Pasar Malam kind stalls located near the Baiyoke Suite Hotel sells stuff that are worth buying too.
Oh ya, don't ever forget their less-than-$1 Wall's cone ice-cream!!
Bangkok, I might be back. Go on developing and let me see a brand new you when I make a comeback! (:
