Happy Chinese New Year!

Yeah, this is my favourite festival of the year! Started feeling Chinese-New-Yearish when I was given assignments on interviewing stallholders selling festive goodies in Chinatown.

But the feeling was not really there since the eve of New Year. I don't know what was missing, though I still enjoy eating new year junk food. I've been stuffing myself with those junk like mad. Which means I'm gonna turn fat.

I spent my New Year Eve just like previous years; had a sumptuous reunion dinner with my dearest family, went to River Hongbao at night, watched the countdown on Channel U or 8 (can't remember and couldn't be bothered cos I don't have cable to watch other programmes), and guess what -- New Year's arrived!

The only thing worth remembering was that I've learnt playing guitar from Biaogang on that one fine afternoon. I've finally turned my wish into a reality, with the help of kind kind kind Biaogang.

Guitar wasn't that difficult, but it wasn't easy either. You have to press the strings real tight to get the crystal clear melody.

To my own surprise, I cut my long fingernails that I was rather proud of. And now my left hand's second, third and fourth fingertips' skins have became rough and hard.

BUT now, I can play Mayday's 溫柔! (chords only la, haha)

Guitar, here I come!
