A little little dream come true. After waiting for more than a year, guess what.. I finally got signatures and handshakes from Mayday!!

Could have attended their press conference as a showbiz editor from Nanyang Chronicle, but too bad I've got lessons, so I sent another journalist down instead. Not fated ehh. But please stay tuned to Nanyang Chronicle for our report! (:

Ever since Sixplus's autograph session in December 2005, I have not been attending other singer's autograph sessions. What a waste of time, I realise.

But it's different this time. First time supporting super idol Mayday UP CLOSE!! Although I attended it alone. 第一次看五月天看得如此冷静。Maybe because I've seen quite a number of artistes already, or maybe I don't have a partner to do crazy things together.

How I wish I can immortalise the moment when I was up on the stage. Direct eye contact with Mayday and I could see their eyes filled with (personally perceived genuine) passion and gratitude. They were nice chaps—— said "hello" to every fan, looked into their eyes, and shook their hands as they thanked them.

But too bad I couldn't remember how Ashin's hand felt, maybe because I was a little taken aback by Guanyou's not-very-attentive attitude. I've been wanting to shake Ashin hand cos he's got the most gentle palms and nicest-looking fingers among the guys I've seen! 这样讲会不会很不要脸。

But saying all these doesn't make me an unprofessional music reviewer! 我是很专业的“娱乐发烧友”喔! Some journalists and DJs can have their idols and even have the chance of interviewing/taking pictures with them, let alone us small ordinary music supporters.

One thing I couldn't stand was the more than 1 hour and 30 minutes delay. SUPER LATE. If they're not going to be punctual, they shouldn't have stated an earlier time. If they're not going to stick to their schedule, then time is a meaningless dimension in their lives. Yeah but celebrities always have to cope with some unforseen circumstances, such as longer-than-expected press interviews, blah blah. But then, it's best to respect time as a precious commodity. TIME = MONEY.

尽管如此，我是快乐的。因为知足，所以满足。

一个舞台、五个人、一张专辑、13首新歌、超过千人因为他们而聚集在一起。因为音乐，大家都哼唱着共同的语言。演唱《天使》的时候，只有四个字能形容现场的气氛——温馨、感动。

对我来说，音乐人就是霸占思想边城的国王。你在听歌的时候，他们的想法都正在通过音符和文字，慢慢地渗透进你的大脑，影响着你的思绪、你的人生观、你对事物的态度。当然，受影响的程度，因人而异。

继续摇滚吧，国王五月天。
